Afternoon Tea has just stepped up a gear at The Royal Hotel with some exciting changes coming from 1st December.

The Royal’s new head pastry chef, Emily Harris, is currently designing and perfecting her festive Afternoon Tea.

Emily knows a thing or two about afternoon teas – hers are award-winning you see – something she gained while working as a pastry chef with Heston Blumenthal at his Dinner restaurant at the Mandarin Oriental, Hyde Park.

Alison will be performing a selection of well known songs with a Christmas and Midwinter theme, and will play two harps. This will be an evening of gentle, calming and spiritual music for midwinter tide. To find out more about Alison’s music please go to www.alisoneve.co.uk
